وجه الرئيس الموريتاني محمد ولد عبد العزيز صباح اليوم الأربعاء 17 أكتوبر 2018، برقية تعزية إلى الملك المغربي محمد السادس بمناسبة حادث سقوط القطار الذي راح ضحيته عدد من القتلى والجرحى.
وفي ما يلي نص البرقية نص :
"صاحب الجلالة والأخ العزيز،
تلقينا ببالغ الحزن والأسى نبأ حادث خروج أحد القطارات عن مساره بمنطقة بوقنادل قرب العاصمة الرباط، أودى بحياة العديد من الضحايا وإصابة آخرين.
وبهذه المناسبة الأليمة، أعبر لجلالتكم و من خلالكم للشعب والحكومة المغربيين ولأسر الضحايا، عن خالص تعازينا القلبية وتضامننا الكامل في هذه المحنة الأليمة، سائلا المولى عز وجل أن يتغمد الضحايا بواسع رحمته ويسكنهم فسيح جناته ويمن على المصابين بالشفاء العاجل.
وتفضلوا، صاحب الجلالة، بقبول اسمى آيات التقدير.
