قالت مصادر قريبة من أسرة موريتانية أن والدة هذه الأخيرة حرضت زوجها على إعلان تبرؤه من أبناءه الثلاثة الذين أعلنوا ضمن مجموعة شبابية عندعمهم لأحد مرشحي الرئاسة مخالفين بموقفهم الموقف العلن للأسرة المنسجم مع موقف مجموعتها القبلية زأضافت المصادر ذاتها أن من بين ابناء الأسرة رب أسرة و هو موظف سامي في الدولة وطالب جامعي وشابة تعمل في مؤسسة من القطاع الخاص
