وأكد القيادي في حملة ولد بوبكر, أجيه محمد اكليب, عبر صفحته على الفيسبوك, أن ﻭﻟﺪ ﺍﻟﺸﻴﺦ ﺣﻤﺎﻩ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﺍﻟﺘﻘﻰ بالمرشح الرئاسي المستقل ﺑﻤﻨﺰﻟﻪ الليلة البارحة.
ونقل اجيه عن ولد الشيخ حماه الله قوله ﺇﻥ ﻭﻟﺪ ﺑﻮﺑﻜﺮ "ﻫﻮ ﺍﻟﻤﺮﺷﺢ ﺍﻟﻤﺜﺎﻟﻲ ﻟﻤﻮﺭﻳﺘﺎﻧﻴﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻻﻧﺘﺨﺎﺑﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺮﺋﺎﺳﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﺤﺎﻟﻴﺔ".
