هل تضعف الانتخابات موقف موريتانيا أمام الاتحاد الأوروبي فيما يتعلق باتفاق الصيد؟
تستعد حكومة موريتانيا لتمديد اتفاقية الصيد الحالي الموقع مع الاتحاد الأوروبي وهو ما قد يمنع وقف الترخيص للسفن الأوروبية في المياه الموريتانية حيث تنتهي في نوفمبر القادم اتفاقية الصيد الحالية بين موريتانيا والاتحاد الاوروبي.
والاثنين الماضي حاول خوان مارتن فراخويرو مدير الرابطة الوطنية لسيفالوبوديروس (أنسيف) انقاذ 19 سفية غاليسية (غاليسيا في اسبانيا) تصطاد في المياه الموريتانيا من أي تبعات لفشل المفاوضات مع الاتحاد الاوروبي خلال زيارة له للعاصمة نواكشوط التقى خلالها بالمعنيين في وزارة الصيد وتوجها بلقاء مع وزير الصيد والاقتصاد البري يحيى ولد عبد الدايم.
ووسط استعداد موريتانيا للانتخابات الرئاسية التي تجرى يوم 22 ، من المتوقع أن يتم عقد أول اجتماع للتفاوض على اتفاقية الصيد مع بروكسل في نهاية هذا الشهر أو بداية يوليو القادم.
