أفادت مصادر للوئام الوطني للأنباء أنه بعد فرز 22 مكتبا من مكاتب الاقتراع في مقاطعة الشامي التابعة لولاية داخلت نواذيبو حصد المرشح غزواني نسبة قاربت  60% 

ويجمع المراقبون والمتبعون للحملة الانتخابية أن الفضل في نجاح حملة المرشح في مقاطعة الشامي وحشد الدعم له يرجع بالدرجة الأولى الى الفاعل السياسي الأبرز في المقاطعة النائب ورجل الأعمال لمرابط ولد الطنجي  

كما ان منسق حملة المرشح على مستوى المقاطعة المستشار محمد ولد سيدي عبد الله  هو الآخر قاد  حملة قوية ناجعة وناجحة بحمكة فائقة وتوأدة وصبر وعزم  نجح خلالها في توحيد صفوف الفاعلين السياسيين المحليين الداعمين للمرشح وجرت فعالياتها في ظروف حسنة طبعها التنافس الايجابي
