ﺃﻓﺎﺩﺕ ﺍﻟﻮﻛﺎﻟﺔ الموريتانية ﻟﻸﻧﺒﺎﺀ أن رئيس الجمهورية محمد ولد عبد العزيز ﺃﺩﻯ, الليلة البلرحة, ﺯﻳﺎﺭﺓ ﻟﻠﻤﻨﺘﺨﺐ ﺍﻟﻤﺎﻟﻲ في مقر إقامته بمصر ﻭﺷﺠﻌﻪ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺗﺤﻘﻴﻖ ﺍﻟﻤﺰﻳﺪ ﻓﻲ ﻫﺬﻩ ﺍﻟﻤﻨﺎﻓﺴﺔ ﺍﻻﻓﺮﻳﻘﻴﺔ.

كما أدى زيارة مشابهة ﻟﻠﻤﻨﺘﺨﺐ ﺍﻟﻮﻃﻨﻲ ﺑﻌﺪ ﺍﻧﺘﻬﺎﺀ ﺍﻟﻤﺒﺎﺭﺍﺓ ﺍﻟﺘﻲ جمعته ﻣﺴﺎﺀ أمس ﻣﻊ منتخب ﻣﺎﻟﻲ ﺑﻐﻴﺔ ﺭﻓﻊ ﻣﻌﻨﻮﻳﺎﺗﻬﻢ ﻭﺣﺜﻬﻢ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻤﺜﺎﺑﺮﺓ ﻣﻦ ﺃﺟﻞ ﺗﺤﻘﻴﻖ ﻧﺘﺎﺋﺞ ﺇﻳﺠﺎﺑﻴﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻤﺒﺎﺭﺍﺗﻴﻦ ﺍﻟﻤﺘﺒﻘﻴﺘﻴﻦ ﺃﻣﺎﻡ ﺃﻧﻐﻮﻻ ﻭ ﺗﻮﻧﺲ.
