قال مصدر شديد الإطلاع للوئام أن الرئيس المنتخب محمد ولد الشيخ الغزواني وقع اختياره على وزير الصحة البروفسور كان ببكر لتولى منصب رئيس وزراء لأول حكومة في عهده
وبذلك يكون البروفسور كان أول من يتولى هذا المنصب من المنحدرين من الضفة من ذلك المكون
وبذلك يكون المرسوم الرئاسي الذي صدر اليوم بحق وزير الصحة ربما تمهيدا لتكليفه بمهمة التحضير لمقترحات حول اعضاء الحكومة المرتقبة
على الرغم من ان مصادر اخرى رجحت انه تمت اقالة الوزير لاسباب تتعلق بتعطل بعض أجهزة المنشئات الصحية إلا ان المصدر الذي نقل الخبر للوئام يؤكد عكس ذلك
