ذكرت مصادر اعلامية ان حريقاهائلا اندلع في المولد الكهربائي رقم 6 من المحطة الكهربائية الموجودة في كلب الغين بعد منتصف ليلةالبارحة و بحسب المصادر فقد هرعت فرق الإطفاء التابعة للشركة الوطنية للصناعة والمناجم التي كانت تتمركز في المنطقة والمناطق القريبة منها لإطفاء الحريق مستعينة بعمال الحماية المدنية وعشرات العمال المتواجدين في عين المكان حيث تمكنت من إخماد الحريق دون تسجيل خسائر بشرية.
ولم يعرف بعد مستوى الأضرار التي لحقت بالمولد المشتعل.
وزار مسؤولون كبار في الشركة عين المكان للوقوف على آثار الحريق ومستوى الأضرار التي خلفها.
وتغذي المحطة الكهربائية في كلب الغين كل المنشآت التابعة للشركة في لمهودات وكلب الغين وكدية الجل والمكاتب العامة للشركة فضلا عن مدينتي ازويرات وافديرك
