اقتطعت قناة "البرلمانية"التابعة لشبكة قناة الموريتانية أجزاء من كلام نائب رئيس الجمعية الوطنية بيجل ولد هميد في خظوة أغاطت الأخير واثارت جدلا واسعا حول الموضوع الذي اعتبره البعض نوعا من القطيعة مع تمجيد بعض الأطر والمنتخبين المحسوبين على العهد الماضي للعشرية الأخيرة التي تولى فيها الرئيس السابق محمد ولد عبد العزيز زمام الأمور  وهو مايبررونه بكون الاجزاء المصادرة من كلام ولد هميد تضمنت تثمينا مفرطا للعشرية الاخيرة .
