الوئام الوطني ـ دق المنمون في الشمال الموريتاني وخاصة في منطقة تيجريت ناقوس الخطر حول خطورة مايتعرض له الغطاء النباتي في منطقة تيجريت التي تقوم مجموعات من المنقبين  بحملة إقتلاع  وقطع مكثفة لجميع أشجارها ونباتاتها  وذلك من اجل حرقها داخل آبار التنقيب عن الذهب.

الحملة على الأشجار والغطاء النباتي منظمة من طرف المنقبين التقليديين عن الذهب في المنطقة قصد إستخدام الأعشاب و الأشجار لتكسير الحجارة في اعماق الآبار، وذلك  بهدف تسهيل اختراق صخورها.

ويقول المنمون وساكنة المنطقة ان مثل هذه العمليات يحدث على مرأى ومسمع السلطات التي لم تحرك ساكنا لوقف هذه الحملة البالغة الخطورة.
