شهدت مدينة لكهنؤ بولاية براديش الهندية أغرب واقعة طلاق، حصلت أثناء جلسة استماع للفصل بقضية تتعلق بالمهر بين زوجين.
وقالت صحيفة "ديلي ميل"، إن الزوج سعيد راشد حضر المحكمة بسبب دعوى رفعتها زوجته ضده وعائلته بخصوص المهر.
ورمى سعيد على زوجته سيمي (30 عامًا) يمين الطلاق 3 مرات في قاعة المحكمة، لأنها رفضت أخذ علكة منه، قدمها لها أثناء انشغالها باستشارة المحامي ما أثار حفيظته.
ويواجه سعيد عقوية بالسجن تصل إلى ثلاث سنوات وغرامة مالية بعد انتهاء إجراءات التحقيق بقضية مهر زوجته سيمي، التي عقد قرانه عليها عام 2004.
