أكدت مصادر محلية من مدينة سيلبابي للوئام أن عدد ضحايا السيول التي شهدتها المدينة جراء الامطار الغزيرة التي تهاطلت عليها جاء على النحوالتالي :
تسجيل حمس وفيات من بينها أطفال صغار وسيدة وعدد من المصابين وكانت السيول قد غمرت المدينة قبل أن تتدخل فرق الانقاذ التي لم تتاخر وقد بعثت السلطات قوافل الى المدينة المنكوبة قبل ان يتم إيفاد وزراء من الحكومة الى عاصمة ولاية كيدي ماغة من طرف رئيس الجمهورية لتقديم العزاء لأسر الضحايا والاطلاع على حجم الكارثة وإيجاد الحلول المناسبة لها
وقد وصل كل من زوير الداخلية محمد سالم ولد مرزوك وزيرة الاسكان الى مدينة سيلبابي مساء اليوم .
