أفادت مصادر ان الرئيس السابق محمد ولد عبد العزيز اجرى توقفا  ليلة البارحة  الى برشلونة باسبانيا  في وقت متاخر من الليل   رفقة زوجته تكبير منت احمد وقد كان في استقبالهما القائم بالاعمال بالسفارة الموريتانية بمدريد  مولاي ولد احمد لعبيد والذي تلقى اوامر عليا باستقبال الرئس السابق وزوجته حسب المصادر  .

وكان ولد عبد العزيز في انتظار رحلة دوليةاخرى  الى لاس بلماس للاطمئنان على الوضعية الصحية لوالدته فاطمة منت اجيرب التي تتعالج هناك .
