 نقلت مصادر إعلامية عن  مصدر  وصفته بالمطلع قوله إن مسؤول الإنتاج في الشركة الوطنية للصناعة والمناجم "اسنيم"  مصلحة 710 أحمد ولد أبهاه  ، تعرض لإصابة وصفت ب"البليغة" نقل على اثرها إلى المستشفى الجهوي بنواذيبو.

وقالت ذات المصادر، إن الحادث وقع خلال تفقد ولد أبهاه لإحدى منشأت الانتاج بعد  إنتهاء فرقة تنظيف من عملها بالشريط الناقل للمعدن،حيث كان المسؤول يشرف عليه، ولاحظ قطعة حديد بين أسطوانة الشريط الخلفية والشريط نفسه، فأراد إزالتها قبل تشغيل الشريط، لكن الشريط انطلق قبل أن يسحب يده، ما أدى إلى إصابته إصابة بالغة فى الذراع، نقل على إثرها إلى مستشفى سنيم بكانصادو، ومن هناك تم نقله الى المركز الجهوي لمختلف التخصصات الطبية.
