ألقى عناصر الشرطة في مفوضية الميناء 1  القبض على لص خارج حديثا من السجن، وذلك على خلفية عدة شكاوى وبلاغات تقدم بها عدد من زوار مركز الوكالة الوطنية للسجل السكاني والوثائق المؤمنة؛ يتهمونه فيها بالنشل والسرقة.

الشرطة تابعت المشتبه به عن طريق بيانات  حصلت عليها من ضحاياه حتى تمكنت من القبض عليه وهو يحاول السرقة من مواطن في نفس المركز، حيث حاول مقاومة عناصر الشرطة الذين أحكموا السيطرة عليه واعتقلوه في حالة تلبس.

وذكر مصدر صحفي متابع لقضايا الأمن في نواكشوط أن التحقيق مع اللص الموقوف كشف أنه من أصحاب السوابق، ويدعى المتهم محمد ولد محمود، من مواليد سنة 1990 بنواكشوط ويشتهر بلقب “ليفري”.
