أكدت وزارة الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون و الموريتانيين في الخارج أن انتخاب موريتانيا عضوا في مجلس حقوق الانسان سيمكنها من المشاركة الفاعلة في أعمل هذا المجلس، و إيصال صوتها ورسالتها النبيلة في مجال حقوق الإنسان.
وعبرت الوزارة في بيان اصدرته اليوم الجمعة عن ارتياحها لما أسمته ” الحصيلة المشرفة “لتعزيزالحضور الفاعل لموريتانبا في المحافل الاقليمية والدولية.
و انتخبت موريتانيا عضوا في مجلس حقوق الإنسان، للفترة 2022-2020 بمجموع 172 صوتا من أصل 187
